Years ago, they worked the front lines. Today, these retired nurses continue to enjoy life at Fairwinds Lodge Retirement Residence in Sarnia, ON.

Fairwinds recently hosted a week-long celebration of the retired nurses living with them. ‘Remember When’ booklets were handed out to retired nurses. The books contained pictures of past pins vs new ones, uniform changes over the years, Operating room changes and word searches with medical related words. They also enjoyed lemonade and mini cinnamon buns. At the end of the week, each nurse received a red rose, white rose, and a handwritten thank-you note.
